My daughter Laura was so excited to be scheduled to work a full summer at our church summer camp this year! It’s been Laura’s dream for years to work there so we’re just all very thankful she had this opportunity again this year. This is her third summer working at the camp and she works off-season too. The camp is like a second home to our family.
All of my kids have grown up going to the summer camp programs and as a pastoral family we’ve attended meetings every year since they were little there. And my oldest daughter has also worked there for nearly 10 years. So it has a special place in our hearts!
So many good memories have been made there. It’s such a special place!
My oldest daughter, Sarah, has also worked at our camp for many years now. In fact, she met her husband there!
Summer camp is often a great experience for kids and many young people make a commitment to Jesus while at church summer camp. Hopefully next year camps will all be open.
