Summer just wouldn’t be summer unless we experienced lots of picnics. Our family loves eating outdoors in the sunshine under a shade tree. There’s something so peaceful about enjoying an afternoon or evening outside, munching on something yummy and sipping something cold – and watching the kids run around. That’s what summer’s about in my book! So, my ABC’s of Summer Fun series wouldn’t be complete without a picnic post.

Picnic Checklist
Today I’m sharing a fun Picnic Checklist {below} that you can laminate and reuse over and over again. Because, it’s aggravating when you’ve arrived at your destination, are setting up your picnic and realize you forgot something uber important.
To reuse the checklist, print the checklist and then laminate it. I use these:
You can use either a wet erase marker or a Sharpie to write on the laminated checklist. If you use a Sharpie, you can just use a little rubbing alcohol to remove the ink when you’re done.

Bonus Tip: I like to bring newspaper to my picnics to use under the watermelon when I cut into it. It soaks up all the extra liquid and makes for easier cleanup.
