- 6 eggs
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- cooking spray
- 1 drop royal blue food gel
- 1 drop red food gel
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
How to Make Firecracker Bundt Cake for the 4th of July
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2. In a large bowl mix together cake mix, water, eggs, and oil. Mix well.
Step 3. Separate the cake mix into three bowls. Place one drop red food gel in one bowl. Whisk. Place one drop royal blue food colors. Whisk.
Step 4. A spoonful at a time add some white then red then blue into a greased and floured bundt cake pan. Repeat until the bundt cake pan is almost full. Leave room for it to rise.
Step 5. Bake for 50 minutes or until a tooth pick comes out clean.
Step 6. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes then carefully loosen edges of cake with a knife. Turn out onto cooling rack
Step 7. Allow cake to completely cool and then dust with powdered sugar.
